"When you are curious, fun has a way of just showing up." - Curious George
I am feeling so blessed because whenever inspiration eludes me, something new and exciting always pops up. And definitely, my clients give me the best stories to work with!
My client's brief was articulated to me well - to make The Man With The Yellow Hat talk to Curious George around the corner of the bag. The composition is a unique take on how we can view paintings (it doesn't always have to be on a single plane!) and I was upbeat about creating a synergy between the two characters.
Reading up on this unconventional pair of friends gave me fresh ideas on how to frame the story. Curious George is a sweet African monkey who can't help but run into trouble. George's friend, "The Man in the Yellow Hat", tries very hard to care for George and is always saving the day.
And so, what you see here now is "The Man in the Yellow Hat" calling out to Curious George from a window, trying to get hold of him before he gets into any mischief! How I envy Curious George for having such a trustworthy friend to always rescue him from sticky situations!
